I received this as a gift last week. These farging pears are the juiciest most delicious thing I've ever tasted. I know some of you like putting fruits in your alcohol...jesus, these are the best. Really, I can't stop thinking about these. They almost taste too good to be true. If any of you has spare $$$...they are well worth your money. Holy christ, I wanted to put my meatcicle in them they were so good. The ones I received were the Riviera Pears.

$2.50 per pear?  Ha, people have too much money, just don't know what to do with it.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Munson

QuoteAlthough Bilbo often referred to Frodo as his 'favourite nephew', he was in fact his first cousin once removed (through his mother), and also his second cousin once removed (through his father). Frodo lived with Bilbo at Bag End for twelve years, and inherited some of his peculiarities

Look at this fargin' nerd.

But yeah, the Hobbit movies are based on one very short book that happened before all the Lord of the Rings stuff. They're gonna pad the shtein out of them with helicopter shots and fight scenes.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Apparently they used a lot of information from Tolkien's notes so that they could put in more material. IE in The Hobbit when Gandalf disappears to handle business, they're actually going to show where he went/what he did

I shot down so many Kamikazes last night, we don't need to worry about Pearl Harbor being bombed anytime soon.

So every now and again I go through this phase where my body refuses to farging sleep. Last night I woke up at 230am and I haven't fell back asleep yet. If using history as a guide, stupid stuff like being awake for a day will happen to me for the next week or two. The question is, what do I do with all this extra free time?

Sgt PSN

You mean to tell me that reading this board doesn't put you to sleep?
