That appears to be the exact same model that I bought a few months back.  I've been cutting my own hair, more or less for the last 10+ years and so far, this is the best set of clippers I've owned.

PoopyfaceMcGee

How often do you lubricate the device?

Also, how often do you oil the hair clipper?

Sgt PSN

Thrice daily.

Every other haircut....which for me is twice a month.

Got my water bill yesterday.  I pay about a penny a gallon and use about 100 gallons per day.  That seems like a lot of water at first, but then I started adding up toilet flushes, dishwasher, showers, etc....and 100 is an easy figure to hit.

How much do you fools pay/use?

I think we pay too little.  It ought to be at least double that...the only way you'll ever get people to conserve the stuff is to charge them more for it.

yeah we're billed quarterly here

I should mention that the sewer costs are rolled into this as well..but I consider it one and the same service.

There is also a $7.50 surcharge for some kind of Chesepeake Bay cleanup fund.  Which I do not of course mind paying..because I'm a goddamn liberal who understands that if the government doesn't take our money to do things like clean up our water, we'll be living in the Ganges because individuals and corporations certainly aren't going to do a farging thing about it.  History proves as much.

I average about 240 gallons a day, but we have 4 people (and 2 dogs) living in the house; our rate is also about a penny a gallon.

Holy christ. That's a lot of farging water....and according to you guys, its an easy figure to hit? I'm one of the most conservative water/recycling/energy freaks around...and hearing 100-240 gallons makes my balls shrink and my butthole pucker.

When I think about all the iceholes letting their water run like it's made out of water, it makes drives me insane.

We do think about how much we use, and try to limit waste.  Our son bathes in a small tub that we put in the regular tub, for example.  He's not big enough to warrant using all the extra water it would take to bath him in the grown-up tub.  We turn off water when brushing teeth, washing dishes, etc.

If I get a break from the child this weekend, I'll finish hooking up the rain barrel, which we'll use to water the garden from now on, etc.

100 gallons a day isn't awful, I think.  2 adults, one toddler, two dogs.
