I don't see how anyone could come to the conclusion that the US "supports" gays.  Fruity little bastiches can't even get married in most states.

Got popped for expired inspection on my motorcycle today on the BRP.  NYCHP was actually stopping motorcycles just to see if they had all their shtein straight.  My inspection was five days over due.  Now I'm out 160 for the tow and another 75 for the ticket.  farging sucked.  He was a real sanctimonius prick about it, too.  I've got no record at all...no speeding ticket, nothing.  Registration and insurance are current and valid, license is valid, etc.  Swarzenegger was breaking more laws than me when he wrecked his motobike a while ago.  Still, Officer icehole chose not to let me off with a warning.

There are reasons I hate cops.  This is a mild one, but it makes the list.  A good cop tells me "kid, you'll be out more than $200 bones if you don't get this fixed right away.  I see you got no record, and you're only five days past, so I'll let it go.  Just got get inspected, right?"

I've got three bikes.  The one I was riding is a '92 BMW K75SA/3.  I pulled over because the cop told me to.  It was rush hour traffic, we weren't moving at more than 15-20 mph.  He was walking out into traffic to point out motorcycles and make them pull over.  He was stopping all bikes to check stickers, etc.  I've seen them do this before, simply farged up not getting my shtein inspected in time.

It happened at the Fordham Road exit.  Tow truck driver told me the same cop got six people yesterday.

So Dio, just to be clear... I like you.  I think you're alright.  I look forward to someday having a drink with you in some dive full of naked women with seven teeth.

But, it sounds as if you made a mistake, and now want to blame someone else because you effed up and you got caught.  I'm not sure I see the rest of this story.  Is it that cops suck, or that you just made a mistake?

Sorry, but I am just pissed that so many people blame someone else, and then use that reason to hate the man just doing his job.

I totally agree with you when it comes to accountibilty but to have your ride towed for something so minor is BS. Especially when he's on a bike and could have easily smoked him....still dont get this inspection stuff tho, i thought cali was f'ed

Yea Dio, its on your dumbass for not getting it inspected. Maybe if you had nice tits and a pretty mug he would of let you off. Either way where the hell do you put 3 bikes in the city? I'm currently enrolled in the motorcycle safety course, going to take it in 2 weeks. 4 classes of bullshtein, you get your license if successful and you get a discount on insurance. Prob won't buy a bike though til spring. Prob get something cheap. My sister's fiance rides BMW's, swears they are the best. Me, I'd rather ride a hog.

Of course the mistake is on me.  As the law goes, he was right and I was wrong.  No doubt about that.

It is also true however that cops have discretion in how they enforce the law, and I happen to think they ought to have some discretion.  It's not a black and white world.

This guy had a person with a perfectly clean record, who was not in the act of making any moving violation, and was five days late on inspection.  All other paperwork was in order, and presented to him.  I was mannerly and respectful.  If there were ever a time to warn me what he could do under the law, tell me to get it inspected asap, and let me go, it was then.  Instead, he issued the ticket, forced me to pay $145 for a tow, $75 fine, and be stranded on the highway, etc.

I won't apologize for thinking he was a fleshpop about the situation.

Truck:  lane splitting/filtering is illegal, but almost wholly unenforced in NYC.  I was not splitting lanes when this happened.  Cop was targeting all motorcycles.  Inspection is managed seperately from registration.  In order to register, your inspection must be valid..each is good for a year.  In my case, my registration expires April each year, and my inspection September.

First pic is hot.

Get three locks, at least one of which is a Kryptonite chain/American lock combo, and heavy duty cover for it, too.  Those things vanish as fast as gixxers.
