SD, you are so deluded from that past relationship that you can't even imagine what marriage is really about? To say its about settling and co-dependency...holy shtein. You couldn't be more wrong.

I would have had no issues being alone. I have a lot of family and friends.

However, I met the right person and we didn't get married to settle. We got married to have a great life together....as most of the people on this board who are married have done. Yeah, we all bitch about our significant others, but we also bitch about work, kids, running out of coffee in the house, thunderstorms, snow, the Eagles FO, Philly sports, etc etc etc.

I friggen' HATE IT when that happens.
