Yeah, it is the border - both ways - that sucks.  I had to explain what happened to US Immigration, since I was returning so soon...the agent at the booth rolled her eyes and said "You have got to be kidding me..."
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I just took a dump that looked like the stuff you seal your driveway with.  I'm thinking thats not a good thing.....
