commerical radio is unlistenable...i realized that when i got sirius for christmas.
commercial free radio with stations for every type of music...plus stern and all the sports/comedy/talk stations. before i got it, i also said i'd never pay for radio but it's definitely worth the $12/month...especially since i have it hooked up at work.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I guess if I had gone the xm/sirius route prior to buying my ipod it'd be one thing, but since I got the ipod first, the satellite radio just doesn't do much for me.  The only time I even turn the radio on these days is on my way to work so I can listen to Mike and Mike.  Other than that, it's all about the ipod.

Cool.  For those of us that are old and education system stopped at Sun, where are these bigger stars/planets?  A galaxy far far away?

I think they are stars. I know Sirius is the dog star, the brightest star in the sky, less than 9 light years away.  The closest is Alfa Centauri, 4 1/4 light years away.

I don't think anyone has found planets outside our solar system. Just galaxys.

Here is a list. Wikipedia has is all. Its interesting stuff to me. It's amazing how much bigger VY Canis Majoris is than the Sun.

Quote
VY Canis Majoris (VY CMa) is a red hypergiant star located in the constellation Canis Major. It is the largest known star and also one of the most luminous known. It is located about 1.5 kiloparsecs (or 5,000 light-years) from Earth.

If our Sun was replaced with VY Canis Majoris, its surface would extend to the orbit of Saturn. Assuming the upper size limit of 2100 solar radii, light would take more than 8 hours to travel around the star's circumference. Dr. Humphreys recently estimated that the largest possible star is approximately 2,600 times the radius of the Sun.

Similarly, if a human could walk on the surface of Canis Majoris – assuming a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph) for 8 hours a day – the person would have to walk for 650,000 years to circle the star (compared with 2 years 11 months to complete the same task on the Earth, and 310 years 7 months on the Sun).

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I'm in Delaware right now and reminded that Delaware is garbage.  Ugly, stupid state.

Delaware is awesome.

I was a beer man at The Preakness yesterday. besides the fact I only got 1 hour of sleep the night prior, it was pretty awesome. Made 230 dollars for 7 or so hours of work. And got to watch the race. It'll be cool to witness a piece of history if it happens.

I think we might get to work at the Belmont Stakes too....which be even more awesome to watch iti happen.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Haha.
THat's pretty bad but they've said worse shtein on that show.
Well, he knew he would end up getting himself fired eventually.

Usually when a person gets fired from their job, it's far from the worst infraction they've ever committed.  He'd probably been warned and fined multiple times in the past and put on notice.  Straw that broke the camel's back kind of thing.

Yeah they've done some horrible horrible things on that show before, that were completely hilarious like that song.

I'm sure it was by far not the first time they had been in trouble.

dunno....the obit in the Philly Inquirer is short and doesn't say much.  One of the older ladies on EMB that was going through a rough time with her husband's sudden death became good friends with Andy over the past 6 months or so and hadn't heard from him in over a week....no responses to personal emails or phone calls or PMs or anything.....so she contacted the people that signed his online obit guestbook and they confirmed that it was him...  :-\
