No shtein.  It takes like 8 seconds to open up :CF and see if there's new posts or not.  Or, if you're an uber loser like me, you keep :CF open almost all day and refresh the main page whenever you want to see if new posts have been made.

shtein, I thought I was bad for camping on the "unread posts since last visit" page

getting emails all day would drive me fargin' nuts

I went to the Taste of Chaos tour today in Camden

Bullet for my Valentine was much better than expected
Atreyu was good, but played too many new songs, and didn't showcase their guitarist[Danny] as much, which blows
Avenged Sevenfold is a great live band, but they only played 5 songs I knew [of about 10], and I only liked 2 [Unholy Confessions/Second Heartbeat]

overall a good show, and had fun tailgating

A bunch of my friends went to that concert last week. It was here in Rochester last Tuesday I think.

I read today that the government is going to spend $580 million on the military in 2008, and over a TRILLION on medicare and social security.

Good thing reform in all 3 places is actively happening!

At least the spending there is a short-term problem.  Social Security is bankrupt, and no one's even talking about fixing it anymore.

Why would they? There's a war going on, man! If we don't win, nobody will live long enough to collect!

The man. The myth. The legend.

There's time to fix Social Security and unlike Iraq, we get something good for Social Security.  It needs to be fine tuned and the funding problem has to be solved, but it's a fundamentally good use of public funds.  Iraq is the worst possible use of public funds.

That's ridiculous.  It will be BANKRUPT within a few years.  Drastic changes need to be made urgently.

Even Vietnam was short-term compared with Social Security.

Just look the other way, though.  Nothing to see there.  Fiscal responsibility isn't your bag, clearly.
