Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Think it needs a notification about the cash over cap discussions.

:-D  Good stuff GF.

I'm not going back and reading 14 pages of Jabar Gaffney talk so if this has already been said, oh well.

I actually like this move even though I've always stated that I'm sick of this team signing a bunch of backups at reciever.  The reason I like this move is simply for the fact that it's a one year deal.  So it's not like the Eagles are looking to Gaffney to be the future face of Eagles recievers.  Randle El, Givens and Jurevicious all got long(er) term contracts but their production last year was pretty similar.  So I'm cool with them bringing him in for one year.  To me, that says that they are still going to address the WR position.  Maybe it's Moulds or Walker or maybe they've got something planned for the draft.  Either way, I think they're still working on something.

I think its a great deal for the Eagles and Gaffney.  He's an upgrade over Mcmullen/Lewis and still young with potential after being stuck in such a bad organization.  I'd bet Lito helped sell the idea to him.

Jesus Christ. You have brought more this conversation then I, or anyone, could have ever hoped. Lock this thread now, no more to talk about. You shouldn't have read the fourteen pages, they would be trivial to anyone with such a tremendous grasp of the situation.

Well ok then.

I'm sick of reading everyone's bitching.

This is it for the off-season. The only other possibility is MAYBE signing Moulds after he gets cut. If not, this is it for the WR's this year.

I like the signing. Yes, he DOES have upside. He's young and has talent, lets see what he does with McNabb at QB.

Everyone keeps asking for a #1 WR. Sorry folks, Reggie Brown is your #1 WR. The Eagles have said more then once now that they feel confident that Brown can step up and be a #1.

So, unless Moulds gets cut, don't expect another WR before the draft. Or after the draft. Minus the VERY small possibility we get Moulds, the only other way another WR is coming here is through the draft. Get used to it.

This team has won before with WR's much less talented then Reggie Brown, Jabar Gaffney, and Todd Pinkston. Pinkston and Jabar are going to rotate at the #2 spot, which I like considering that Pinkston might not be healthy enough to start, and the fact that Gaffney might turn out to be a much better playeer then he has shown playing for a zesty team.

James Thrash+Todd Pinkston=3 trips to NFC Championship game.

Reggie Brown+Todd Pinkston+Jabar Gaffney=Better then James Thrash+Todd Pinkston

farging relax already.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
