Eagles | Team must make decision on Owens by Tuesday

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Philadelphia Eagles must make a decision on WR Terrell Owens by Tuesday, March 14. Owens is due a $5 million roster bonus and it is unlikely a team will trade for him now.

In 24 hours he will either be traded or released... or kept - who knows with this insane offseason.

This may be our final TO topic ever on this forum so let's make this one special.


Calling it right on the $ since day one.

Someone tell Banner and Lurie to keep him...Please. He's not that bad a fella. He's just...Misunderstood. Word is Jerry Jones has a woody for him, and I don't know if I can take it if he's signed.

Tell them I'll name one of the raccoons that comes in our yard Swoop. Or Linc. Anything. Just don't let him become a free agent. :'(

That's probably enough groveling. :)

If Dallas does sign him, any recommendations? Staff psychologist? Rubber room? Ego deflation equipment? A particular brand of gag? A 20 foot wall around his dwelling or a bribe to the local media to keep him out of the news?

The only plausible solution is to pay off the media. Even then he'll probably still seek them out.
