The Eagles are very hush-hush about visits, so it's probably the Eagles, and he'll probably sign by noon!

C'mon, I need this.

Finneran is a tall possession receiver. Something this offense could use. Is he TO? No. Is he Javon Walker? No. Could he help? Sure.

If they were to pull off a trade for Walker and have Walker, Brown and Finneran starting I would definitely chub up.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I'd take him over Pinkston, but c'mon now. It's a lateral move at best for replacing anyone not named Owens.

still waiting on some sort of ANYTHING remotely close to the Eagles even LOOKING at Finneran. Not one place has it, even the media hacks for the Philly papers.

All Pinky has ever been good for is running down the field in a straight line. It's amusing that so many people consider that a good quality.

One very good thing I'll say about Finneran is that the Falcons used him a lot ot keep the chains moving.  I can't tell you how many drives he kept going for ATL by going up an snagging a errant Vick pass for a 1st down.  So in the sense of a good option on 3rd down and in the red zone... I like it.

IF he really is even an Eagle.

I remember that and when watching a Falcons game (for the purpose of pointing and laughing at Vick), I would always wonder the same thing. How in the hell was Finneran SO BAD here and then could keep drives going there?

that's an important factor to a passing offense

Finneran wasn't really bad here, he just had one major screwup.

so bad here?...he played two games...dropped a ball and was a statement cut...im gonna guess he was the same exact player here that he is/was on the falcons...he just got a chance there

I wouldn't mind the addition of Finneran in much the way I wouldn't mind the addition of Schobel.  Both fill a need on the cheap and are a slight improvement over the depth currently there.  Neither signing would preclude the Eagles from making further moves at either position should an opportunity come in the draft, by trade, or later in FA.

SunMo

i don't like hte Schobel move based on the fact that he's not a good blocker, you need that from a backup TE
