I had some Five Guys fries for the first time the other day. They were greasy like the Mexican who makes my authentic Mexican food.

The only place I remember eating at when I lived there was Lena's Deli.  She had the best goddamn hoagies ever.

I know.  We don't have a single place here that remotely compares to anything back home.  Yeah, we have cheesesteaks and hoagies, etc. but they pale in comparison.  It's pathetic, really.

There's a couple places here that are run by Philly peeps and do a pretty good job of replicating the hoagies and cheesesteaks. But it's just not the same.

My first stop back home is the joint down the street from my moms place. Old Greek dude owns it and makes a killer hoagie.

you cant come close to copying a hoagie because of the bread.....bread is important in a steak but its the central ingredient in a hoagie
