It's amazing how much IGY is able to analyze the skins, considering he only watches their games against the Birds.

You need to get some miami guys on the team.  Makes it more fun.

I don't think i said it here because i haven't been over in a while but i got a chance to see portis and taylor at a high school they were doing a camp at.  Also there that day was shawn merriman and chad johnson.  Well i got a good chance to talk to sean.  First he was joking around with the girls that were there and my friend claims he leaned back and checked out his girlfriend as she was walking away which made him pretty happy.  Now portis wasn't really talking to anyone but taylor was being all nice and spoke to us for a while when he was signing.  Surprisingly he seemed like a nice guy.

Later when i was leaving i saw him in the parking lot and he just started giving me advice about college which was wierd(I don't think he is qualified to give advice about college).  Funny thing is he was trying.  He asked me my major and talked about it and kept on asking questions.  I talked to him about my orientation.  He then was saying that its ok if i want to change my major because you don't take classes towards our major until the junior year.  Again, its a football player, not to mention he was facing 26 years, so i was really taking the advice to heart.  Taylor isn't as bad as people think he is.  The article from ESPN that talked about him hit on the head.  He really seemed like a good guy.  I don't think he will be causing too much trouble from now on.

ill say it again tho it still amazes me that the eagles somehow found the only miami player that cant play...

Go review a list of Miami players drafted.  There are plenty that havnt done much.

Yeah, that Kevin Everett is tearing it up in Buffalo. Him and Buck Ortega in WAS will make everyone forget about Shockey and KWII.

That Ken Dorsey's a keeper too. Maybe one day he'll be as good as Gino Torretta.

Sean Taylor, while horribly gifted, is not the best safety in the league. When he was being drafted it was clear that he has the ability to be great. But I tend to see him (like many others) as someone who is unlikely to live up to his ability. I mean, the dude obviously has some rather large anti-social behavioral problems. On top of that he doesn't even seem to care that much about football. My undying hatred of the taterskins aside, he's never going to be a hall of famer and I wouldn't be surprised if his behavior becomes more and more bizarre over the next few years.

But, but...Michael Smith wrote a piece on him that says how much he smiles and stays late to sign autographs and how he loves the game!!

When Michael Irvin makes the Hall it will be because he won 3 superbowls. Much like other WRs who randomly make it he doesn't have the stats to back up his eventual election. Michael Irvin was a competitor and a gamer and a leader. On top of that, while he was also a criminal, he won championships. If Sean Taylor becomes the leader of this defense, a player that other players rally around and follow, and they win superbowls, he may get elected but as long as his head is all farged sideways and he's spitting on opponents, he isn't sniffing the Hall.

Don't think Irvin. Think Romanowski.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
