No, not really.  The key to these signings is tiered signing bonuses.  It's still guaranteed money, but they don't get it all this year, so the taterskins can push even more of the cap hit to future years.

and guess what in none of those future years will they have cap problems either

Or draft picks.

It's simple, really.  They just continually transfer salaries into bonuses and redo contracts.  You saw this nearly hurt them with Arrington, but they somehow got him to agree to GIVE BACK THE MONEY?  Unreal.  In fact, I don't believe it really happened, and it will be interesting to see what the Skins do after Tags leaves.

The Offseason Champs are one step closer to the Golden Paper trophy with this signing. Man, Archu-fargin'-leta, he's not an overrated bundle of mediocrity or anything!

The man. The myth. The legend.

The BIGSTUD

Archuleta is one of those signings that makes you worse.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Spadaro:  "They went out and got Archuleta, who SUCKS.  He's only a name anymore."

Haha.  Even from our version of Art... still funny.

it was either clark or him.  I like clark more.  CLark is a good guy.  Clark will spend time for the fans and he has taken late fines just to make sure he signs everyone.  Clark is a good player and will be a credit to where ever he goes.  I would have signed clark but since it is clear the money doesn't matter to the skins i guess archuleta was the right move.

Randle El was a good move IMO.
Lloyd is a turd but may be decent on the field.  tough call with him.
Archuleta is highly overrated by the media.  doesnt cause turnovers and sucks in pass coverage.

General_Failure

Hey, I like money too. The Skins should sign me. I don't have any real skill, but that's okay because I'll want a lot more money than I'm worth.

change your name to a player they've heard of.  i suggest Walter Payton.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
