I'll give them a real chance at 8-8. That said, I think the Eagles will probably be about 8-8 as of now also.

i think it depends on Brunell, who can't play better than last year, but can play worse.

but that's besides the point. the line we've been fed over the years is that the Eagles do things the right way with the cap and the taterskins do it wrong. take away who they are signing, just the fact that they are supposedly in cap hell and they are able to be as aggressive as they are. what's the point of all this management?

They got the 4 guys they targeted. Kudos to their FO for that. For the record, the Eagles have already missed on Bentley and even Brian Finneran... so whether or not the taterskins are able to turn these acquisitions into improvement for their team, we should probably let them enjoy this for a day or so. They are NFC offseason champs after 2 1/2 days.

there is no point to it...yet many eagles fans live and die by it

id rather be the skins and win the free agency title than the eagles and win the salary cap championship

Yes, including last year. With a healthy McNabb and a TO that wasn't a punk the Eagles beat them twice.

that's why i said that you have to look past who they are getting, forget the fact that they are absolutely incompetent at selecting players. imagine if they had Tom Heckert (and an owner that stayed out of his way) and they spent the way they did.

oooh yaaaaaay....the eagles are better than the taterskins every year...cept for last of course...

the skins are often incompetant in player evaulation as lil danni refuses to get a gm...but at least he puts 100% into trying to win a superbowl...if lurie tried half as hard to win as danni they eagles would have a title right now

They are spending money on garbage.

Lloyd is an average inconsistent receiver, Randle El is a #3 receiver who does a lot, but won't do anything more for them than Pinkston does for us, Andre Carter is an OK DE, not near Howard's caliber, and they still have no QB, no offensive line, and even with Carter no defensive line.

The Skins suck.
