QB Eagles

How about a damn thread already?

Anyway, was anyone shocked that the Giants got shut out by Carolina at home? Not I.

Palmer's down and cringing in pain.

Well, my playoff FFL QB is down and hurting on only the 2nd snap for Cincy. Helluva pass to Henry though.

Down with Pittsburgh!

And it was nice to see Eli and the Jints lose. First shutout in the playoffs since 1986.

And the shot of Archie Manning with his little NYG cap on sulking was priceless.

At least he doesn't have to worry about being in two different cities next week.

If I am Cincy's defense I take out Roesthlisbeiurthjgeer.

Eye for an eye, bitch.

Jon Kitna is auditioning for Reid today though. He'll be our #2 next year. :D

True.

He'll devote his time to seeing the other son choke it up again.

Another Bengal hurt - Chris Henry.

Field time for Cincy trainers > field time for Cincy offense

Exactly my thoughts when I saw him warming up.

He was in the pocket and threw a beautiful pass to Henry...then one of his OL blocked Kimo Von Oelhoefen into his left knee and it wasn't pretty.

Did anyone see Burress flat out quit today? He was disinterested in playing it looked like.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QuoteG-MEN POINT FINGERS AT PLAX

On the heels of a 23-0 loss to the Carolina Panters, some Giants players believe that receiver Plaxico Burress quit on the team during the embarrassing shutout in front of the home crowd.

"He was playing half-assed like a big Hoyda," we heard from one source.

It's not the first time the locker room sentiment was that Burress, a free-agent pickup from the Steelers, shut it down on the field.  In a loss to the taterskins a couple of weeks back, the thinking was that both Burress and tight end Jeremy Shockey gave up on the team.
