Sheldon is still questionable for the game against AZ.  If he doesnt start, Hood and Strickland will have the job of covering Fitzgerald and Boldin.   If there was ever a test to see if these 2 can step it up this is it.   If the Dline cant get any pressure in this one it could get ugly.   :paranoid

good thing that Boldin's on my fantasy team

or that the front 7 actually gets some pressure on him...

HA HA!! Like that will happen!

Glad i picked up McCown this week.  I think he's a safe bet to outperform Hasselbeck.

This strickland fella was a 3rd rounder, he may be a player.  Hood could also be auditioning for a job somewhere else, trade bait possibly.

Well, BOTH of them are RFAs after the season. The Eagles could offer Strickland the minimum and if someone offered him a contract and the Eagles decided not to match, the Eagles would get that team's 3rd round pick, since he was originally a 3rd rounder in 2003--Hood is a little trickier. If the Eagles want to trade him, they would have to offer him the middle tender--because he was a UDFA--he wouldn't garner them a draft pick if they offered him the bottom level tender and some team gave him an offer the Eagles wouldn't match.

I thought strickland was an RFA next season, thanks for the info!

Hood is tricky though.  I just learned about the UDFA not getting compensation at the minimum offer last week.  Interesting stuff there.

To hell with that.  You need three quality corners.  Hood stays.
Anyone but Reid.

If that was a test, the secondary is going to summer school.
