interesting stat during the KC/Denver game that Westbrook leads the NFL RB's in yards per touch.   I believe Tiki was 2nd, Larry Johnson 3rd, Warrick Dunn 4th and Tomlinson 5th.

thrillhouse

over the season or career?

Cause nfl.com has Westbrook at 4.1 yards/carry and theres like 17 guys higher than that for the 2005 year.

Yards per touch, not per carry.

Do touches include balls dropped, and screen passes bounced off his feet?

You are unfunny and would be best served by burning in hell.

i bet he's on the lower end of actual touches leading him to have such a high average per touch.  either way he's still our only hope of scoring.

yeah, he has less touches than most backs.  That doesnt automaticaly translate into a higher average per touch.   For instance, Mike Anderson has a similar number of touches as Westbrook but averages a full yard less per touch than Westbrook.   Yeah, Anderson doesnt catch the ball as much.   A more interesting comparison is Lamont Jordan who does have about 50 more rushes than Westbrook but also has more receptions than Westbrook (who knew that?).   Jordan averages only 4.5 yards per touch.   And that is an offense that has Moss and Porter.

This tells you all you need to know about Kerry Collins.

Westbrook will always be near the top of that category because a) he does most of his damage receiving and b) he doesn't get that many carries.

I think FF is trying to be like RJS with his burn in hell comments and sarcasm.  The only problem is, you can never live up to RJS and his amazing ill will towards the entire human population.  C'mon!

I think rjs is usually tongue-in-cheek with his comments.  Plus, he overuses them.  I am totally serious about JailBird-man, though.  I've never seen a contribution from him on these boards that did anything but suck.

Same could be said for many, including myself, but especially hbionic.

True, but some of us suck less obviously.  Others suck in aggressively sucky fashion.  They are imbecilic & unfunny with every single post, and really have no reason whatsoever to live... on this board, at least.

Even hbionic is funny, to laugh at.
