A middle of the pack A-10 team finishing....in the middle of the pack!  How shocking!

Honestly, why do you think anyone cares?

I care and quit your hating.

i'm assuming there are a lot of people on this board that root for other philly teams.

Excellent.  I thought my efforts were only being wasted on one.  This is much more satisfying.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

how is 2nd middle of the pack? they finished behind xavier who is in the top 15.

temple gets the winner of la salle/duquense. owls beat both of them last week, but la salle is a big five game (never easy) and the dukes didnt have their best player.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

In kindergarten, we learn: Beginning, middle, end.  Beginning is first, end is last.  Everything else is middle.

Front, middle, back: Sled dogs know, that if you aren't the one in front, you are just sniffing ass.

Temple women also made the finals of the a10 tourney. championship is tomorrow at 5 against xavier, who upset gw today. you all care, but ive seen just about every game theyve played so at least my time isnt being wasted with a team that loses. its being wasted on wimmin playin sports.

Um, ok...then why is everyone so down on the Eagles?   They've been to the "final four" and won their division lots of times.  What's the big deal?

Ok, props to Temple for finishing almost first - upper middle or lower upper or however you want to call it.  Almost first in a conference that hasn't made it to the final four in over a decade, and hasn't had a team in the championship in 40 years.  Props to their great history of almost making it to 4th place.

Hey they finished #1 in the Big 5 this year so shut it.

Villanova's Last Final 4 / Championship: 1985
Penn's Last Final 4: 1979
St. Joseph's Last Final 4: 1961
Temple's Last Final 4: 1958
La Salle's Last Final 4: 1955
Drexel's Best Tournament Finish: Round of 32, 1996

Esteemed company.  No wonder Villanova wanted out.

because the eagles are on even ground in a 32 team league...temple is not even the best team in a second tier conference so making the tournament is huge for them and a big deal indeed...where as in pro sports just making the playoffs doesnt mean much...especially when youve done it so much lately

in college people remember who make final fours...hell sweet sixteens are tracked...unless youre buffalo no one cares who loses in the superbowl
