It's not their fault he's an icehole.  But it is their fault for not beating him like a red headed step child.

This whole logic of "if, if, if the Eagles had (insert past player here) then he/they would've kept that sumbitch in line!!!" is a load of horse shtein.

Terrell Owens is a grown ass man. He is responsible for his own goddamn actions. Dawkins and Trotter did their best to try to help him along but they are not TO's daddy nor is any other ex-NFL or current NFL player.

So give the "If Reggie White...." crap a rest. Because you know what? TO would've shtein on ANYONE who tried to tell him what to do.

And if the player(s) did get tougher on him physically or verbally then guess what the stubborn ass TO would've done? He would've gotten worse.

It's on TO.

This was not Andy Reid's job
This was no Donovan McNabb's job

Reid let the guy bend the rules as much as he could before TO spit in his face. And TO did not get suspended for his comments. He got suspended for failing to apologize to his teammates when he was asked to. If Reid lets that stuff go he loses the team. Simple as that.

and then they'd be in jail and our team would be even worse.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

How quickly people forget that players like Reno Wilbur are rotting on the bench.

So you're telling me that Keyshawn and Terry Glenn have become relatively decent responsible teamates on the cowpukes b/c they grew up on their own?!?

Bullstein!  Bill Parcells always loads his teams with a few players very very loyal to him so that anyone who steps out of line gets their arse shredded and not by Parcells.  It is called PEER PRESSURE folks, and it works at any age.

Just look at how many grown women are duped into constantly buying new wardrobes due to peer pressure and societal peer pressure (e.g. glamour, vogue, etc...),  or men who need that latest or greatest truely useless gadget better than the on "neighbor joe" just got.

If you don't think peer pressure plays a large role in any team environment- you're fargin' crazy...

And I don't know enough about the Eagles locker room to say who was that point man.  Hugh was definitely a rally guy but being over the hill kind of diminishes that status.

Look at how much more in control Randy Moss was when the Reverend (God that makes me laugh!) Chris Carter was there compared to when Randy Moss felt like he was the main game in Minnesota.

PS I think we need to teach spell check "fargin, Keyshawn Etc.."

Beware of Dragons, for you are crunchy and go well with ketchup...

I'm not sure if Christ himself being an Eagle would have mattered to Owens.

I believe that, simply put, Owens has a mental instability, and that no one could permanently stop what is happening.  He is in need of psychiatric care- he is detached from reality.

I'm as big a fan of Reggie as anyone else, but I don't believe that anyone could have truly made a difference with TO.

I think you need to go back to the EMB where idiocy like this post is tolerated.

Time will tell.  We'll see where he winds up next year, and we'll see how T.O. performs as a team player or doesn't....

Keyshawn still freaks out. He recently verbally berated Bledsoe on the sideline. T.O. will play well next year for whatever team chooses to pick him up.

There was nothing wrong with that post...some people are just too fargin uptight.  Either that or they think they are always right.

Hate to defend the Boys & Meshawn but that was on the field. Not in a presser, or interview. Fights on the field and the sidelines have always existed. Me-shawn didn't tell his coach to shut-up,  etc. Or go on an interview and Bledsoe was a hippocrit and if Dallas had another QB...you get the idea.

She also posts about people walking across the street and the changing of the leaves. Not a great barometer for caring, really.
