pam oliver made a great point when she talked about how emotionless the eagles sideline was...thats what happens when your two best players dont wanna play for the team.....ill say it again to everyone if you dont think TO's attitude is effecting the team then you just arent paying attention...

if i see mcnabb standing on the sideline one more time laughing with koy when they are down by 100 pts im gonna lose it

totally agree...i know it almost sounds like a cliche at this point...but you really cant have your qb and wr and rb and what seems like the whole offense on a different page....

was no one else furious when they were down 21-0 and 28-0 and mcnabb and detmer were giggling it up on the sideline....

The defense is always emotional, and they often get smoked. You either play well or you don't, it doesn't matter if you're frothing at the mouth or telling dirty jokes about Rush Limbaugh to Neckbeard.

This team needs a pass rush more than ANYTHING else right now. The offense sucks because of coaching. The defense sucks because of personnel. If this team doesn't sign a big-time pass rushing DE in the offseason then...

I honestly can't put into words how mad I'd be. They'll deserve every loss they get if they don't fix this DE problem and I'll be right there laughing in their face if they don't.

So, basically we bitched and we have every right to bitch. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this team besides running the ball? That is a given. What else do we need to do? Let's get some ideas.

His schemes aren't ever perfect, but he can't go out there and tackle for guys. Now if he's telling them "everyone bit on the playaction hard" then yeah, he needs his ass thrown in a woodchipper.

the defense can be better but they dont deserve the hate that they are gonna get...the field postion that the o gives them is embarrassing

why people are ripping the d is because of the beginnging of the year expectations were out of control...there were a couple threads on this very board asking who was there better d ..the gang green d of circa 91 or this years....which is laughable...its why i robbed pg of five bucks on whod have the better d skins or eagles...when i see homertastic weakness i pounce

The defense deserves every criticism they are getting. The Raiders had the ball on our 50 on every drive against us and we held them to 20 points. They are every bit as explosive as Denver. 49 points is no excuse I'm sorry. I don't care what our offense did. 49 points is a DISGRACE. Our LBs besides Trotter suck. Lito is getting torched. Our d-line is getting no pressure. This defense is very average right now. I had high expectations going in but maybe I shouldn't have. We need to replace Dhani Jones and Bullet in the offseason. We need a STUD DE. We need another DT. Man this defense needs a LOT.

But of course the Eagles won't do shtein in the offseason to help this team. They'll sign Joe Generic from the Titans who was a 3rd string LB and Andy will try to sell us that he's a star in the making.

Bullet and Jones suck though. I'm tired of them. Jones can't cover for shtein and Bullet always gets blown up.

Speaking of blown up, did anyone see Simoneau get blown up on that goal line TD when Trotter missed a few plays?
