I've gotten a couple of CDs from them. Big mistake. If I want to be able to listen to more than 12 of them at a time away from my desk I have to get a Napster approved wmp player. So now I either buy the CD or steal it depending on how much I like the band.

I get most of my music legitimately via iTunes. There are times when I'll look for things via Soulseek, now that WinMX is dead.

WEST is GOD

I like Limewire, but I get 90% of my music from a music trading forum where people do high quality rips and host them on FTPs.

I used to use Winmix, but now I use Verizon Yahoo Music Engine, you can download any song and keep it on your computer to listen too without buying it, and if you subscribe, songs are 79 cents to buy and burn.

I use Acquisition for MAC.  Its dreamy.   :drool

I've been song shopping instead of band shopping of late, so I just buy them online from the evil that is Walmart for 88 cents a song.

If I want a whole CD I get it the old fashion way and buy it.

Soulseek works well.  And i havent seen it brought up with any legal cases.

I use LimeWire....

My computer got infected from using Limewire.  Same with Kazaa.

i use itunes as well. the subscription services arent worth it to me. and itunes seems to have the best selection.

i use limewire to "steal" once in a while, but it's funny because i only use that for music i bough long ago, on cassette, figuring since i already purchased one licence for it, i can have anther format for it. i know it's dumb reasoning, but i dont care, there is not 1 cassette player in my house.

I have all of my MP3's on a external hardrive which i disconnect each time i go online.  Dont want them seeing 2500 freesongs downloaded from  56k.
