QuoteFavre (Deanna) disses Philly

Wow, you're reputation must not be good when the wife of a player on a team 1,000 miles away takes a shot at you. During a feel-good public appearance, no less.

Deanna Favre, the wife of Green Bay quarterback Brett who has been battling cancer and other family hardships for the past year, was the guest speaker last night at a women's lecture series sponsored by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Here's how she concluded her remarks, as reported by the Journal Sentinel:
--------
In a question-and-answer session after her talk, Favre admitted that the public eye, while intrusive, isn't so bad in Green Bay - even now.

"Most of the time people are really friendly. People say nice things," she said. "It could be worse. We could be in Philly or somewhere."

Keyshawn was on Sirius radio today and said this, which i found funny:

Quote"I'm so sick of Joe Theisman sucking off Brett Favre. Everytime he talks about him I want to hand him a napkin through the television."

The man. The myth. The legend.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

What a bitch. And we didn't even make fun of her cancer much.

PhillyGirl

Apparently not enough...considering she was giving Philly fans a free pass to do so.

The Eagles are going to stop raising money for breast cancer research. That'll teach her.

Shut up and praise Favre. Wankers.

Man, it's a shame what is going on with that crap. I can't blame her for anything she might say. What person wouldn't get ignorant in that postition? I know that if the press came to me, I'd be saying a lot worse in those shoes.

Man, we had some real battles with Favre and the Pack, who can forget that Monday game in the rain when Dmac executed that comeback drive to end the game?? Remember Favre standing on the sidelines in the pouring rain watching??

I don't care what the press says, or how they talk about his wife, or what she says. he's the shtein. There was a time when there wasn't a better qb in the league. Dmac has a long way to go before he's in the same league as Brett Favre.

Isn't she all cancer-ridden and dead yet?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

So sure, because she has cancer, it gives her the right to make fun of Philly fans? farg that. Don't feel sorry for Favre. His life, oh, its so farging terrible.

Your post made me want to puke. Its like John Madden took over your body.

Favre, while a good QB, has never brought his team back from a deficit of more than 15 points. After his Super Bowl victory, he has had some pretty piss poor playoff showings. Remember when the Packers traveled to St. Louis and he threw six interceptions? He has no discipline.
