Sixers are playing the Knicks. AI and C Webb and Sammy are out. Sixers up 16 at end of first quarter. Iguodala playing very well so far and so is Gai. Gai is the next Ben Wallace.

Speaking of AI  , the NBA needs to ease up on their off the court clothing policy. What a joke.

I know it's only preseason, but I love the way Cheeks got the team playing. They are much more aggressive on defense. He's also got Salmons playing a lot better. He's driving a lot more. I love that. One of the gripes I had last season was the team not taking it inside more. It's important to get to the line and have the other teams in foul trouble early. If this team plays solid defense and takes it inside then the Sixers will win the division. My 3 keys to this season are:

Get more shots inside
Aggressive defense
Cut down on turnovers

If they Sixers do all those things, then they'll win the division despite the lack of depth on the bench.

Johnny Salmons...has the light finally gone on for him? He played really well last night. At least he's stepped up from only doing good in summer leagues to the preseason. Maybe he'll be a contributor this year.

I also like how Kevin Ollie has played so far.

its hard for your game to be consistent when your minutes arent...his minutes have gone up and down more than a kensington smack whore
