If it was Darwin Walker who put that hit on Vick ,  people would be defending it as a clean it.  go figure.

General_Failure

I'd be happy as hell that Vick was done for the season. We wouldn't have to hear about what a great QB he is for a little while.

The man. The myth. The legend.

i think it's real tough for the o-line to get fired up when they're backpedaling all game long instead of runblocking.

Runyan, for one, would definitely agree with you.

Dawkins thought it was borderline, but he also said he's a defensive player AND a McNabb supporter.  Hard to gauge.

Nothing in the game happened to McNabb that warranted a flag.

McNabb was horse collared while going out of bounds.  I forget who on the Falcons it was, but he was grabbed from behind by the back of the collar.

I forgot about that. Apparently, a horsecollar is legal as long as the defensive player hits his target elsewhere first. ???

It's really because of TO whether you choose to believe it or deny it like fattie and the boyz. In the 25 years i've followed the Niners never has there been 1 guy that could divide a lockerroom and cause so much internal turmoil that it actually showed on the field.

We denied it too.....said the same things to the press, etc, etc

Diomedes

People said that before he came Truck, and I didn't countenance it.  Now I know better.  I don't know that TO is the reason the entire offense looked disinterested, but I'm sure he's not helping.

FWIW, McNabb needs to give him a good beating and take control of HIS team....im sure that would fire up the offense in a hurry

Maybe it was just me, but did anyone see any players on the offense have any fire under em?   McNabb was forcing his smiles and complaining about something every now and then, but he was never really looking fired up.  TO was about as low key as I can remember seeing him.  Westbrook never showed any type of emotion good or bad.   Nothing from any Olineman that I saw either.  Somebody pretend to care.

I noticed that too. It disappointed me.

Youre right, Mcnabb is a class guy.

On the other hand, so was/is Steve Young. That's why I was shocked in 94 when he went off on Seifert for taking him out of that game you guys killed us like 40-8. Everybody was shocked...that wasnt something Steve Young was known to do...

Point is, we went on a rampage after that beating the cowbitches twice on the way to the superbowl

just some food for thought

it has nothing to do with class...and everything to do with him being milquetoast
