Dan Snyder is a farging moron. Not only is he pissing off just about every small market team, but he is hiring every coach who will be on a list of possible HC canidates in the coming years. A lot of high profile coaches to just go ahead and suck.

Only you people can take Gray's hiring as a negative. 
He's worked with Williams in Buffalo.
He's an upgrade over a coach that is leaving to coach UCLA.
But the owner is a "problem" beacuse he's trying to hire good coaches.

I wouldnt call them average...they played the second hardest schedule and were one qb from the championship game.  If I was a fan of the eagles I would be praying Saunders falls on his face because if he replicates what williams did with the d they will win something.

Allow what??  He is not breaking any rules.  What can the NFL do...iniate a salary cap for coaches.  That salary cap has REALLY discouraged Snyder from spending on free agents hasnt it?  There is one major difference between the teams under Gibbs and the previous regimes during Snyders ownership.  The taterskins are becoming a team built around team chemistry and stability is a major reason for this.  The NFL is a coaches league...The pats have proven you dont win with all stars you win with a team and chemistry and stability are two elements Washington hasnt had since he left in 92. 

Gibbs is the one to blame not Danny boy.  Snyder just signs the checks, fellas!

Synder has a reputation for being meddling for things that happened in the past.
Deion Sanders and Bruce Smith helped Snyder make money, but didn't make the team more competitive, and it always seemed like Snyder was somehow influencing those moves.
But the team hasn't signed a Jeff George in a while, so it possible he's learned from his mistakes.  At least it seems that way.  People can knock him, but he definitely wants to put a winning product on the field. 
As an owner, just sign the checks, and listen to your coaches.  I don't give a shtein what else you do.

As an analogy, lets go back 10 years.

Merck Sharp and Dohme spends 100s of millions to buy a major insurance company.  That was fine, until they then said only Merck drugs would be covered under this insurance company's policies.

Feds came in and slapped that shtein, hard, and forced Merck to divest the insurance company, at an enormous loss. 

We'll be seeing a coaching cap in the very near future.
