I would bet that some of the owenrs of teams in smaller markets, despite the revenue sharing program, will start kicking up a fuss about the amounts that coaches are being paid. Both of the Skins coordinators are making more than some head coaches. It wouldn't affect the Eagles because Lurie will spend on coaches, but teams like Buffalo and Arizona might bitch.

And good point about Gibbs being a figurehead. What exactly is his job now? Williams has autonomy over the defense and now Saunders will likely have the same with the offense.

After the 2004 season he added Bill Musgrave to tinker with the offense and among other things add the shotgun, something Gibbs has always hated.
After the 2005 season he adds Al Saunders, who learned from Coryell in San Diego after Gibbs left.
But keep thinking he's a figure head.  It makes Reid that much smarter in comparison when you talk down Hall of Fame Coach Gibbs.
Keep thinking he won't have control of the offense he designed.

How can they?  Coaches are part of management.  They have no collective bargaining agreement; no revenue sharing. 
I can't see all the coaches agreeing to limit the amount of money paid for administration salaries.
