I cant speak for years past but Gibbs does know how to coach. The taterskins are the only NFC team in the top eleven in offense and defense. The only legitimate loss in conference was to the Giants after Mara's death. I doubt things fell into place so they could make the playoffs...they went out and won five games in a row to make it. The difference between this year and since Gibbs retired is that now the taterskins have stability and have built the team chemistry that lacked during the Danny boy shopping sprees since he bought the team.

I wouldnt say the skins have a ton of talent but what do have is a bunch of hard working guys with heart and that is more valuable than the talent crybabies that litter a lot of nfl rosters.

How was the loss to Tampa not "legitimate?"

He didnt get in and we were without griffin and taylor. There was also an interception earlier in the game that the defender hit moss before the ball was there. The bucs first big play to Galloway should have been ruled no completion due to the fact he was out of bounds but the Refs in their wisdom ruled he was forced out.

Like I said. Referee decisions went against the Skins and that completely nullifies the validity of any loss. Duh.

Well, the refs were against the Eagles, too, or else they would have been 16-0.

I kind of hope the taterskins win this weekend. The fans will be so sure that the win over the Seahawks earlier in the season in Washington actually matters and will be predicting victory. The Seahawks will then proceed to whoop up on the taterskins it's their job. Because it is their job.

There is no part of me that hopes the Skins win this weekend. I would rather eat hot lead through me earhole than root in any way for a taterskins playoff victory.

Agreed. Skins fans already think they actually belong in the playoffs this year. Get 'em out quick, fast and in a hurry and bring 'em back to reality. They've already had enough happiness to last them another 6 years.
