i refuse to believe that reno mahe and koy detmer couldnt play every position and still beat the taterskins. they suck.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Those are very similar thoughts to what I had going into Dallas.

Clever.

I can't wait to hear Arthur and Bubba spinning the loss tomorrow night.

Guess who?

QuoteI've been largely quiet this week for the simple reason there's so little to say. The Giants took us on and whipped us. You leave that game knowing nothing would have really altered the outcome. Sure, we could have caught the nine passes we dropped and continued drives and perhaps closed the final score. We could have made a tackle sooner on some of Tiki's big runs. We could have done enough little things to make the game interesting, but, in the end, you left that contest with certain knowledge they beat us because they were simply FAR better than us on that day.

Emotionally they were super charged and we could not match them in any way. Now we should have that emotion for Philly, but, so should the Eagles in their own turmoil and struggles. The injury to T.O. may actually make them MORE difficult to beat as they may rely more on the running game which while not consistently gutting us this year has CONSISTENTLY produced big plays against us.

You rely on the professionalism and character of a typical Gibbs team to come out in this game more prepared and more ready to win than any game this year and with hope, you win the game, sit at 5-3 and much of the confidence inspired by a good early start lost against the Giants can START to creep back in a little.

The one encouraging thing for me is something Sellers was reported to have said on a television appearance. He indicated he was excited about something Gibbs had altered this week. I mention this only because when Gibbs came back, one of the things guys who played for him kept saying was they often KNEW on Wednesday when the game plan was put in that they were going to win the following week.

How the excitement of the staff and insight of the game plan made them know for certain they couldn't lose. This may be the first time I recall seeing a current player express that type of feeling. For me, that will be the biggest thing to watch as a home win here rights a lot of the haunting memory of the Giants whipping up on us

I'm disappointed in him. he says TO has an injury and seems like he doesn't know that TO was suspended.

Too much time jerkin to the Gibbs ass shots he surely took on the sidelines...

I'll still laugh at Art sucking off Gibbs until it stops being funny and/or he kills Gibbs for not returning his love.

is the season over?

If the Eagles are in last place at the end of the season then talk shtein. But being in last place at 4-4, 2 games off the leader, with 8 still to play isn't something to brag about.

So put your pecker back in your pants and settle down.

The taterskins will finish the season in last place in the division. Bet on it.
