Week 2. Gatorade shower. Pathetic.

Well, when you suck ass as bad as the Skins do, you have to take it when you can get it, 'cause it might not come 'round very soon again.

Also, wasn't that the first time they beat the Cowboys in the last 14 games, or sumthin'?

TexasEagle

Actually no, Spurrier beat them once in Dallas also. That's why I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like Dallas had a streak of 14 straight wins going into yesterday. Dallas won the last 3 or 4, then the Spurrier loss, and then a bunch before that. That's why I hate when the talking heads use numbers like 14 of the last 15 or whatever. It makes it sound like the Skins haven't beaten the Cowboys in a decade.

The Eagles aren't God's gift to earth and most of you act like it. You all think the Eagles are the best team in existance and everything is shtein. The Eagles got their butts handed to them on week 1 against an average defense and beat the worst team in the league badly in week 2. Not much to say for you guys, either.

Week 1 was as boring and uninspired as ... well, the Skins performance against Dallas. The Eagles defense was without it's run-stopping retard and still held the Falcons to 14 points. The Skins defense held a mediocre team to 13 points. You're comparing what will most likely our worst game of the year and your best.

But hey, Gibbs beat Dallas and all is well. He's super.

Are you actually giving 'The Woodchoppa' some credit?!?!? I don't believe my eyes! I'm going to get my .45, 'cause I've seen it all now! :-D

Hey Jake. You asked a question, we gave an answer. Slink away much?

If by slink away, you mean post and disappear, then no.

I had to go to work.

As the record stood before Monday, the taterskins had only beaten Dallas once in the last 14 meetings. The last time being at FedEx Field in 2002 during the season finale. It was Darrell Green's last game as a Skin and Emmitt Smith's last as a Cowboy.

This game meant a lot to Skins fans everywhere. Hopefully it means a more meaningful, competitive rivalry instead of the one-sided outcome we've become used to.

Just to add to it, it was also their first win at TX Stadium since '95 or so. Maybe that's why they celebrated the way they did?

I can't wait until the wheels fall off.  They won those 2 games ugly.

Hell, they could win 9-10 games this year now, sure.  Then watch as they get absolutely destroyed on the road in the playoffs.  That is absolutely their best-case scenario.

Isn't that what the Eagles do every year!?!? ::)  Oh, I'm sorry, sometimes you get absolutely destroyed at home in the playoffs!

You guys are just the best team I have ever seen.  Every year you do so well until you lose in the playoffs.

A comparable example would be the win over the Giants in 2001.  We'd lost, what, 8 in a row?  I jumped like a lunatic when Thrash caught that TD in the back of the endzone.  But I don't remember Reid getting a Gatorade bath for it.
Anyone but Reid.

1999...your last sniff at the playoffs since 1992 before the salary cap era.

Elementary my dear, twatson.

Well, isn't it just as obvious that you guys perennially lose in the playoffs as it is that we don't make it there?  That's all I'm saying.

For the last eight years or so you guys have been a much better team than we have, I agree, I just thought that the quote about us making the playoffs and losing was a bit ironic.

I still have you guys going to the SB from the NFC and winning the East, you have a very good team and I hope Westbrook kicks ass on my fantasy team.  I still hope we win but I'm trying to keep things in perspective, we still have a long way to go but 2-0 is a good start.  I just hope that you guys keep some perspective as well and realize that impressive as your team has been lately you still have to win something before you can really talk.
