Hmmm....so I guess you pole-smoking homers would rather lose 14-10 than win 9-7.......enjoy solo possession of last place, iceholes.

3 Lombaris and counting, eh?  How about we go with something a little more modern.

How about 14 straight losses to Dallas and counting.  Or....

6 straight seasons without a playoff appearance and counting.  Or....

3 head coaches in the last 5 years and counting.  Or....

8 starting quarterbacks in the last 4 years and counting.  Or....

Well, you get the picture.  Come back after week 17 and we'll see where our 2 teams stand.

or 7 straight games losing to the Eagles.

You forgot to say "and counting."  Sheesh, get with it.  Slacker.  ;)

Patrick Ramsey is getting farged again.  It's just amazing.  The taterskins haven't done a single thing right by him.  Now that Brunell is the starter again, Ramsey is requesting a trade.  If I'm him, I demand a trade.  And if they won't give it, I would support him in any effort to get cut.

I don't think he gets his trade. Who wants him?

The man. The myth. The legend.

They're going to trade Ramsey to Baltimore straight up for Kyle Boller.

:-D :-D :-D :-D Yeah! Even after Boller was injured!!

QuoteGentlemen, this thread is about our coach. Not Brunell. Not Ramsey. This thread is about Joe Gibbs.

The man is our coach, our leader, and in many ways our best friend. And this is why I am totally devastated by the responses that our fans have displayed on this message board today about our coach.

This simple matter is that winning is all that counts. I am a Ramsey supporter. And I think Ramsey is now/ or will become a good quarterback. However, my love for the taterskins trumps all. A lot are saying that Ramsey was handled unprofessionally by Gibbs. How can you say this? Do you know what the coach is seeing? Can you see what the coaches have seen?

I mean no disrespect for our fans. In particular, I mean no disrespect for the diehard fans who post on this message board. I would simply say that Marv levy had it right.

"Once a coach starts listening to the fans and the media, he will soon become one."

Joe is not here to please the fans by virtue of his decision making. He is here to win ball games and more importantly, to get us in position to be productive in the post-season. If you need a refresher course in what Joe Gibbsd inherited then look at the 2005 version of the undisciplined Oakland Raiders. Or better yet, take some time to read the headlines from the Steve Spurrier era. Guys, ships do not turn on a dime.

Please leave the coaching to the coaches. And leave the fans to cheering. Joe Gibbs will be soon having us cheering. And no post nor thought on this message board will have a more positive effect on this team then allowing Joe Gibbs to do what Joe Gibbs has been hired to do.

:-D

Ummmm... Gibbs may want to look into protection from this stalker.  :sly

Now, that's scary...

No. Scary is that they walk around down here in droves. They are like the holy rollers. If you are a "non-believer" they make it their mission to convert you. If you root for any other team, and you don't see the light, they bash you every chance they get. In work, wherever.
They call into talk shows and spew this shtein, and the hosts laugh at them to no end. Just today the "Sports Reporters" on Sportstalk 980 (ESPN) were actually citing the "Extremeskins.com" boards and calling them nuts and borderline stalkers  :-D. All day at work today they were coming by my office, clutch their chests, and moaning (ala McNabb) and asking if we will ever get a trophy, or a seat at the table.
Much like the bible thumpers, they are completely brainwashed into dump their moneys into a shtein product because it's gets shiny during the offseason., and no matter what evidence you bring to bear, no matter how convincing, they coninue to spew shtein.

I hate living here.  :boom

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I had to share this with you all. Someone copied a post from the DTC on the CPND board. It documented their first tailgate, including how the one guy was the FIRST ONE there. Anyway, it included a link to pictures of the tailgate.

It is THE mother lode of dorkiness. It's like shots from every nerd movie ever made collected on one site. I was looking at them all, and came across this one with the caption "lady sapperton 1 resized" I was thinking, what the...and clicked on it. Here's what I saw.

I guess that's for when the girls they partied with say, "Thanks for the beer guys, gotta go."
