Which is surprising given the TC reports. Maybe he's one of those types that only really shows what he can do in game situations.

I think he's going to be a much better #2 than Koy once he learns the offense and gets comfortable. He looks real good so far, and Moats sure does look dangerous in open ground. Also looks much like he has a more rugged build than Westy.

Unless Detmer retires McMahon will not be #2. If McNabb goes down he might vault to #1, but he won't be #2 while Akers is on the team or while Koy's on the team. The #3 can't be a holder.

I guess, but same same. He's really got a nice motion, seems calm, and moves real well. Altough this is the second or third string defense. Moats looks awesome. He absoulutely flies....and the cuts!  I'm a Moats fan!

If you get really bored, Hawaii is playing in the Northwest Regional Championship for the LLWS on ESPN 2.  Sad thing is the Hawaii kids are bigger than Reno.

I also liked how even though it's the preseason, Theisman still set aside a couple moments to get out his Gobbs/taterskins kneepads. Still the worst set of broadcasters in the NFL rotation.

Yep, he looked like garbage every day I was up there. But he showed some very nice things tonight. I think you could be right - he's one of those gametime guys.
