Let's not all forget there is no team that is more vanilla than the birds in pre-season. They never show squat. The TD pass to TO against the Ravens was last pre-seasons only highlight.

BTW, I have a conspiracy theory that Andy wanted the offense to get some more work, so they gave up the two returns on purpose. Anyone else buying that?

Other than that, I like what I'm seeing so far. The WRs are looking good. Everyone is flipping out over the PS games, it makes me laugh.

I am totally loving how Reggie Brown and McMullen played in this game. McNabb (other than that first play which was just weird) looked solid.

I am worried about our run game. We need a big back in there against defenses like Pittsburgh.

Last season, our special teams blew major chunks the first few preseason games, and after some Harbaugh tweaks, it was again one of the best in the NFL.

Hearing Theisman speak near the end of the half about Harbaugh/AR reviewing the special teams has forced me to go into the garage, get some rope, throw it over a high beam, pull up a stool, tie a knoose, place it around my neck and have my son kick the stool out from under me. Seeing Brown and Lewis tonight was impressive. Both look like they're ready to play. First game and all that, but I'm liking what I see so far.
