The silence broke on Wednesday, when Owens spoke exclusively with WPVI 6abc, the Eagles' new broadcast partner. Former Eagle Irving Fryar spoke with him:

T.O.: "I feel good, if it wasn't for my family. I had a talk with them before I got here. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here. And God put me in the situation to go out here and still play the game, that's why I'm here."

Irving Fryar: "What did your family say?"

T.O.: "They said to stay strong throughout everything. They know it is not fair and we're honest about it."

Irving Fryar: "Everybody knows that the Eagles need T.O. to go back to the Super Bowl and to win the Super Bowl. Are you going to be able to play at your maximum capacity?"

T.O: "I'm here in camp and that's all I can say."

Well, whether it truly matters or not, I'd like to see them get along. If the locker room has a negative air to it during the season, they will be less-inclined to want to give TO the roster bonus. That's still up in the air depending on what he does this season but we can't win a Bowl without TO.
