I so hope everything in in fact OK, and nothing is wrong short term or long term. Did Rosenhaus really only say a few weeks or was that sarcastic? I'm not a doctor so I have no idea how long a bullet wound to the stomach keeps you out.

I find it ironic that just days after Rosenhaus said players risk their lives on the field, one of his clients goes through a life/death ordeal OFF the field. What an idiot.

Yep.  Reid said it didn't hit any major organs, and he doesn't know an exact timetable, but he should be able to come back and play.  He did hint at "a few weeks", though.

I just heard about this. I really feel bad for McDougle because I was one who thought he was ready to break out this year. He is one unlucky dude. The injuries in 2003 killed his rookie year, the knee injury and irregular heartbeat in 2004 and now he's shot in the gut by a few punkass bitches.

I almost wish he did have his gun on him and he took one (or all of) the little bitches out with headshots. Spray their useless brains all over the concrete.

I'm glad to hear that he is in good condition and I hope he will be able to play this year.
