Huh?  I don't know about anyone else, but I can name a bunch of Eagles players I'd like it to happen to even less, and that wouldn't even include T.O.

I'm just hopin' he's OK, although new reports sound positive.

He gives into demands and is still shot. Freakin' punks. Those kids are the scum of the earth. It's horrible that someone has to worry about being killed for entering their car.

the next report will say that he sprouted wings and flew away while dodging bullets ala matrix style

Being that you're the Official Sponsor for Patterson...i think we need to call a special meeting since you didn't list him as #1 on your list.  Maybe we need to revoke your sponsorship.

Mike is eager to prove his worth to the franchise and understands he is not yet the most important piece to the Eagles' championship puzzle.  All in due time, my friend.

BTW, I left Greggie off that list by accident.  Definitely need him healthy more than McDoogs also.

The G Lew camp would like to express their sincere disappointment in the Patterson camp's omission of him on their original "most valuable" list.  We can read between the lines.  Suckaz!

Honestly, I'd put Greg right under Mikey P. on the list.  Ha.

BTW, back on subject... Shockey gives the most intelligent statement I'd ever heard from him:

QuoteFriday, McDougle's former Miami teammate, Jeremy Shockey, said he believed his friend had been poised for a breakout season in 2005.

"He's definitely worked hard this offseason," Shockey, the Giants' tight end, said. "He's preparing to have a big year and something like this happens. All you can do is pray for him, hope the best comes out."

Shockey also indicated that it's not uncommon for Miami players, or other athletes, to be targets in tough neighborhoods.

"You've just got to be careful where you go and what you (are) seen wearing and everything like that. ... I don't really wear jewelry. I don't really dress up with diamonds. I try to stay out of bad neighborhoods," Shockey said.

That's because Shockey is one of the thugs that used to go around terrorizing the neighborhood.

Yeah, right.  He doesn't have the scrotes to be a real-life thug.

Anyway, I thought both the show of support for Jerome and the comments about keeping a low profile and staying out of bad neighborhoods were refreshing, especially from Jeremy frikkin' Shockey.

Ironic...Doogs majored in criminology in college and said if he didn't make it in the NFL, he wanted to become a juvenile corrections officer. His exact quote back then was, "I would love to try to help kids get their lives back in order."

And kids between 15-17 are the ones who did this to him.

This really is horribe, shocking news.  I'm glad that the surgery went apparenlty exceedingly well, and the Doogs seems to be OK.

Thoughts and well-wishes to Jerome, his family, and MMH.
