With that said I did say that I severely doubt it will happen. Andy isn't dumb and that would be a dumb move. I'm not putting a gun to your head and telling you this is the right way to think. You have every right to believe what you believe, dude.  I disagree with you in this instance because Andy Reid has proven to be (1) a man of his word, and (2) a man of integrity.   He does exactly wtf he says he's going to do and doesn't waver in his beliefs.

Knowing that, what possible conclusion can you draw other than if T.O. pulls any shtein in camp, Reid will send him packing like so much dog food?

Well we don't know if Andy even said that yet.

Duce sat out all of training camp, and Andy played him, and there wasn't any problems. If TO holds out I expect the same to happen once the season rolls along. If TO shows up and causes problems, then it depends on how much of a problem he is. If he answers questions at camp and says stuff like "I still want a new deal, etc, etc" then it's no big deal. If he starts taking shots at Andy then we'll see. Andy doesn't suspend people often unless they get involved in substance abuse or something. He's never had to. I can't say yet because we've never had someone on the Eagles before that was as outspoken as TO. We both have no previous incidents to go by. Freddie never ripped Andy or anything. The thing is, this rumor says that Andy is ready to suspend him now. Even before camp starts. That is what makes it so ridiculous. If TO rips Andy, Banner, Lurie and McNabb at camp then maybe Andy has no choice, but it hasn't gotten there yet. Welbourn criticized Andy, but never took it to where TO is capable of taking it. Andy traded Welbourn, but no one wants TO. It's hard to forsee the outcome of this situation if things spiral out of control. TO is so great.

We're discussing a hypothetical situation here, therefore, nothing is set in stone.

However, like I said, Reid has been nothing but ultra-consistent in how he's handled mini-mutinys in the past, and regardless of talent or payroll or whatever, it's my belief that he'll stay true to those beliefs and send anyone packing who he feels is a malcontent.

And when I say "send packing" I'm not talking about a release or a trade; I'm talking about punitive actions that will result in T.O. sitting his ass down until Reid is good and ready to have him back.

T.O. & Rosenhaus have woefully misjudged the will and fortitude of this organization, and while I think T.O. will ultimately come to his senses over this, the fact is that if he doesn't, the Trotter fiasco and the Duce Staley holdout will look like popcorn farts in comparison.

To me this sounds like the media throwing stuff against the wall to see what will stick.  ATH and PTI have both done segments the last two days on TO/McNabb.

If TO comes in and tries to make amends, Reid will forgive and forget, and McNabb will forgive.  If TO comes in and makes a lot of trouble, he may find AR to be like a brick wall.  There is no question about it, this team is Andy Reid's, and what he says goes.

TO has already cost himself $$$ in this face-off, IMO.  He'll find the market to be just a little bit smaller than anticipated, and I believe that he's burned too many bridges to be kept after this season.

I agree with that to a point but I could see him trying to use that as leverage during the season and being a distraction.  If that happens it could be bad.

With Sal Pal I have learned to take every thing he says with a grain of salt.  He used to be an awesome journalist until he got caught up in all of the ESPN hype.
