The official DreamHost blog explains some of their recent issues.  I chatted up some of TPTB over there on IRC, and they claim their issues are behind them and that CF's configuration is to blame.  Basically, they told me to blame Sus and GF.

This blog is *not* a good way to re-assure their users.  They keep blaming their co-lo: power issues, network issues, yaddayaddayadda...  Sounds like they need to find a new datacenter.

I got this display yesterday when I tried to log on so I copied it but was never able to get back on before leaving work.  Any of yous ever gotten this before?

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at mysql.concretefield.info. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?

Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?

Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

That message indicates the site is online, but the DB server is either offline or has a config issue.

So, it might not have been DreamHost's issue yesterday, briefly.
