KC is near impossibly to beat, i lost 19-21, not 1 offensive TD by me

i've been trying to beat the Broncos for what seems like forever. They're insanely good, and i'll tell you why.

Ritchie catches a pass along the right sideline with Champ Bailey as the only guy in his way. I use the "truck stick" option and BOOM, fumbles the ball and Denver recovers. ok, fine.

later, Ron Dayne runs between the guard and tackle with Dawkins as the only guy in his way, while going to tackle him Ron throws a "truck stick" knocking Dawkins over. He runs for another 30 yards only to be caught by the entire defense cause he's slow as shtein.

Oh, the Broncos D-Line is amazing too.

I trashed the Colts and Saints yesterday by 28 and 35 points. I sacked Brooks 6 times with Kearse and INT'd him 5 times....3 for TDs.

So I started my franchise over with the current eagles lineup. I played Atlanta and beat them 63 to 17. I played San Fran and lost 17 to 24. I got sacked 11 times and McNabb had a QB rating of 5.1. WTF.

I created Jason Short, Trent Cole, Spach and Josh Murp Parry. I went into attributes and gave CBuck an injury rating of 1. So he basically got injured on almost everie run. Finally in the 4th pre-season game he got injured for a few weeks. I put him on the IR. Signed Lamar Gordon. Signed Jaqua Thomas, who is a beast in Madden somehow. Im benching pinky for the year. I released JR Reed and Billy McMullen(by accident, i thought i didn't have any rosters spots left so i droped billy). Steve Scullio is a beast and beat out Andrews in pre-season battle, but im starting Andrews since Scullio isn't even on the team. I don't really care about back-up o-lineman. The cancer of madden is taking over my life again.

a few complaints about madden 06

it still pisses me off that when you go to modify uniforms you only get crappy yahoo fantasy football helmets and shirts, no logo's on them.

it took me 2 days to find the editor of custom packages. which is better than the substitution editing, as you can give breathers to players easily, and work with a RB rotation.

fan attendance is still way way off. you lose one home game, the next game you are down to 75% attendance.

playing defense vs the computer in all-pro, is way too easy. but offense is just as hard at times, and incredibly easy. after playing the sliders enough i may finally have it where it's most realistic.

overall i like this game, and some of the gameplay enhancements (QB's actually slide now, and you can throw while sprinting instead of pulling back the pass icons, and the precision passing). but i am glad this was a gift, and not a purchase on my part

The rosters online came out, Short is a 69, Cole 71, Spach 71, Parry 72 overalls just if you want them on par or something. All the backup OL upgrade during the preseason, but they still farging suck..all are 75 overall or lower. In the game Thomas and Runyan's contracts are ending after the 1st year so im going to need to draft alot of lineman....D'Brickashaw.

not enough roster room. they should be able to have just as much as in real life. considine's got like 3 sacks already. screw thornburgh.

trade him. hes worth something..in the game anyway.

speaking of trades, the Bears had a backup lineman 83 overall on the trading block. they took MAHE AND A 4TH.
