you guys/gal are good with eagles history...how about checking out the "all-eagles" roster on madden & coming up with the actual players' names & numbers?
madden doesn't use real names or numbers for those guys so position, height/weight, & ratings are all there is to go by....well, skin color too since they use generic white guy & black guy pics for the all-time teams.

i'll start....

the 6'7 wr is harold carmichael & the DE with a 99 rating is reggie white. ;D

probably find it on a madden message board.

hunt

i had to bump it up to All-Madden.  I beat the Niners 68 - 0.  Through my first 2 games, i had 18 sacks.

is it me, or is the pic of Matt McCoy someone else?

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah, that pic is not Matt McCoy. Don't know who it is. I don't know why they used real pics of some rookies and fake ones of others...Calvin Armstrong for instance is a computer illustration.

I bought it on Sunday.

I love the vision cone.

It is hard as farg to run the ball. I had like 22 carries with Westbrook for 20 yards. Everytime I run with him he is swallowed up as soon as he gets the hand off.

General_Failure

Madden just seems to be anti-running. It was easy as making a baby cry in ESPN 2k5 to run the ball. Runners slid around the blockers and could juke decently. In Madden they run into the blocker, the blocker dies, and the runner is tackled for a loss. Don't even think about juking unless you plan it three yards in advance.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I think running is easier this year than years past.  You just gotta mix it up and if the D is obviously blitzing to where your running use an audible.

i was gonna say, the running this year is amazing.  Guards ACTUALLY pull now!  You just need to do the mini-camp rushing drills to get used to it.  Passing's tough.  You can't drop back and roll to one side or the other.  You need to plant your feet and move up in the pocket or wherever need be or you'll be dropped for a loss.

oh yeah, when you get the run down the play action passes friggin rule!

i havent played that much...but i agree with that. the draw plays and play action passes actually work! that may be the best improvement overall.

i started the superstar mode, and really did not get into it. so i'll just stick with a franchise i guess. and i like the vision cone ok enough. but i love that you can throw to one side or the other of a reciever.

playaction is a mixed bag IMO.  When Mussa and I were playing, just about any big blitz on a playaction would result in a sack.  Its a risky move at times.

well yeah, why would you run a playaction on a blitz anyway? :P

you'd need the RB to block to free man, no fake a handoff.

you can't use it all the time, but it still rules when it works.

the blitzing is really effective.  I have yet to mess with shifting blocking schemes, but i'm guessing that would help.

if you see it coming yeah.  I think it is easier to see the computers intentions than against another person.  The person can alter so much at the LOS and also bring there own player on a blitz its more of a gamble calling an audible than against the computer. atleast for me.

Wingspan

sounds like you just need to suck at it less :deion
