:-D In the immortal words of Hank Hill, "Yep"

RomeyRome

Well this is fun.  :boom

Atleast Antonio Perez is back and getting work.  The guy has been great since he's come back, practically lives on the base paths.  Hopefully Perez will continue to start and get more work at 3rd.

Also it is good to see Werth back out there, but he has to be pretty rusty and probably isn't 100% yet.

RomeyRome

What a game by Penny and Perez  :yay

HB are you watching this kid Perez?

hbionic

He's been on Fuego...he doesn't look big either...but I'll take base hits when i can get'em....and he can run :yay We can only continue to pray.  :evil

RomeyRome

Yeah, he's not huge but as you said he has good speed/quickness for defense and running the bases.  He does a great job hitting the ball the other way, but I think right now he has the power to hit 15-20 HRs the rest of the season and really help this team offensively with hitting and some speed.

hbionic

Not only defensively...but if he can hit .280 and up...we'll be ok.......

I'm happy with Jason Phillips....Izturis.....Perez if he can keep it up......choi...if he continues to contribute and expand his batting zone.........Repko can only get better..........I like these youngsters......hopefully we can do better in June.  :-\

Derek Lowe vs. some 24 year old kid named Koronka (due to all their starting pitching injuries)

hbionic

I've seen Lowe twice this year.....once againt Adam Eaton....once against Dontrelle Willis......

What the farg is Alvarez doing out there as a starter? :boom

RomeyRome

ANother solid start by the youngster  :yay
The Dodgers have to win a minimum of 3 out of 4 in this series!!  They better not split or lose this one.

RomeyRome

Good start by Weaver, he really needs to step up his game against good teams as well as the Detroit type teams.
Good thing the Dodgers get to avoid the Twins ace Santana  :yay He pitched last night.

How the bloody shtein does this thread have 6 pages of responses?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

MDS

Because this board is populated by people who have way to much time on their hands.

Now I'm off to watch a movie, eat some more and play video games before I settle in for the night and watch TV.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

hbionic

We're 3 back...fortunately, San Diego has been dropping the ball. We have the tools and the pitching to do good...its just frustrating that our bullpen is unreliable right now.

Sanchez....what the farg is up with that guy? Every year there is a guy on the squad that I know should be hung but I just keep on rooting for him. (Nomo, Green, Sanchez)....farg.  :boom

Since we got Urbina yesterday, we won't need Sanchez anymore.  No Polanco for you!  ;D

RomeyRome

How was that helping of Urbina yesterday?   :-D :-D
