Updating a previous report, Vinny DiTrani, of the Bergen Record, reports a New York Giants official denied speculation that the team would sign free agent WR David Terrell (Bears). "Right now, I'd say he probably won't be our guy," the source said.

Terrell fired his new agent recently, after meeting with the Jints. He fired his old agent, Eugene Parker recently too. Then he hired a new guy and then fired him. Same thing as Burress.

The Browns have signed Chester Taylor to an offer sheet. 1 year $3M $1M SB

Free agent receiver Plaxico Burress is back in New York, visiting with the Giants. 


We received the information via an anonymous tip minutes ago, and we confirmed it through a league source.


Unlike his prior visit, which ended without Burress getting prodded by the Giants' medical staff, Burress is taking a physical.


It's a far cry from a week ago, when Giants G.M. Ernie Accorsi declared that the team is no longer interested in the former Steeler.

Newsday had said they were about to sign him last week.

One question...how is Rosenhaus working on a contract when the 5 day wait period wasn't over until tomorrow?

The article states that it's essentially the same deal that was offered to him a week ago, so maybe he's negotiating it hisself
