if I were the jets, I would cut pennington's pay, and hire a hitman for Brien.

Alls that left are Dilger and Lewis. Slim pickens, unless we draft that Miller from Virginia.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

MURP

Just so happens that Heath Miller had surgery on a stomach muscle which could really affect his draft status.   Injured player!  Reids ears are ringing.

Dolphins signed Gus "where's that damn wall" Frerotte...

There have been reports in the Miami papers that the Dolphins coaching staff is divided on whether AJ Feeley is going to be their starter.

Their new OC is Scott Linehan. He was Frerotte's OC in Minnesota. Looks like he'll have the inside track, IMO.

A #2 pick for a back-up QB. :-D

If Linehan gets a decent RB, their offense could be decent. With Chambers, Booker and McMichael they'll have a good down-the-field game. Frerotte can chuck it deep.

Cool.  Now he and Dayne can reminisce about how they didn't suck in the BigTen....

Zanshin

Actually, they can't.  I'd be shocked if Dayne goes back to the Giants.

HOLY CRAP!

QuoteMike O'Hara, of the Detroit News, reports Detroit Lions head coach Steve Mariucci has informed QB Rick Mirer he will not be re-signed this year. Mirer is currently an unrestricted free agent.

I can't believe we settled for McMahon when we could have had Mirer.

The man. The myth. The legend.
