Anyone check out the new RTS game Company of Heroes? It's been so long since I've bought a new game (much less played one) that I'm tempted to buy this one at regular retail price. I'm kind of leery it might suck though so will check it out in the store first. I wish they had a playable demo.

General_Failure

Any time there isn't a playable demo and I want to check it out, I steal the game. If the game is enjoyable, like Oblivion was when I stole it, I'll buy it. I got a lot of hours out of Oblivion after I bought it.

I found a demo. It has two playable missions on it. Long download. I'm trying to find the requirements at the moment...

I feel so sorry for you, living in Texas and all.  I'm sorry, man.

So I take it you haven't checked out the game then? :)

ANd yeah this place sucks. I need to move...

Diomedes

No, I haven't seen/played the game.  But my Xbox did shtein the bed three nights ago, so I'm starting to think seriously about what console to buy.

Nintendo just announced their price on what used to be the Revolution.

yeah, I saw.  I'm unimpressed by the 360, not wanting to commit to the Nintendo platform and it's kid-centric catalog, and a bit intimidated by the cost of the PS3

What's the PS3 retailing for?

I'm fine with my old PS2 considering I haven't played a thing on it in about 4 months.I'm debating getting some $20.00 PS games here shortly. Nothing exciting, but a cheap game is a cheap game. I want to pick up the X-Men Legends sequel.

The PS3 is going to retail for something like $700 last I recall.

It would be nice if my Online connection worked so I could play Madden online.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

Got NHL 07 today. It's very very good. Excellent graphics, and the skill stick addition is just great. It makes puck handling so much fun. It's very fun trying to deke the goalie and get the puck by him. I was a 2k fan in the past, but this innovation is a can't miss IMO.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I've never played online against real live losers.  Except for 6 years ago when I went through a three month long  Everquest/blackhole.  That learned me.
