Saw Lucy this afternoon.  Typical Luc Besson movie.  Fun, fast-paced, laughable plot, and good acting mostly from the star.

The ending, which you could see coming from a mile away, was hilariously terrible, though.

If the movie was two hours long, the first hour and fifty eight were a B+.  The last two was an F------.

boyhood was off the reservation

much more of an experience than a film...its essentially a series of 10-15 minute shorts cobbled together. but its just flawless. many of the experiences hit home, and will hit home to my fellow white middle class males (i.e. every last one of you). acting was superb and linklater deserves the statue for making it come together.

some very texas things (sup J) that i definitely got. no nudity. but, i did not know patty arquette was packing heat. hello.

It's legitimately the best reviewed movie of the last ten years. 

I saw it.  Cool concept.  Not quite as high as everyone else seems to be on it but it was good.
