Don't forget Hines Ward's riveting portrayal of a football player.

that whole part was uneccesary

but especially the football part of it....why use the steeler colors stadium and players but call them gotham city...it was so distracting...just make up an entirely fictional team
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

SunMo

they did make up a fictional team, it was called Gotham City.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

no what they did is rename the pittsburgh steelers

hines ward even had ward on the back of his jersey...and the fans all had terrible towels....they even had heinze field on a sign

that whole scene was about as un-nolanesque as you can get

i liked bane more than i expected, but obviously he wasn't close to ledger.  that's what kept it from being on the same level as TDK.  i thought bale was the best he's been in this movie -- he absolutely sold the weariness of his character, and Caine was the best actor on screen IMO.

it was more predictable than TDK, but the last 15 mins or so was probably the best 15 minutes in the series.

Better or worse than Any Given Sunday?

The man. The myth. The legend.

paco

Yeah, like its possible to top Any Given Sunday
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

I hated that stupid farging movie.   Stone should be shot in the face for making that piece of crap.

I feel like we've had this discussion before.

Batman 3

1. Banes voice was the worst thing ever. They made no attempt to hide the fact that all his dialogue was ADRed. Just awful. No clue what nolan was thinking.

2. No shot anyone was topping ledger, but hattheway did her best. She was terrific.

3. Some of the best pure action I've ever seen.

4. Respectable if not easy ending

8/10
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Thank you.  farg Carmen Diaz and farg Al Pacino for stooping that low and agreeing to be in such a zesty flick.

Just saw it. I didn't know what to think the entire time. It was awesome....I'd go 8/10...could be higher but the first 30-40 minutes were very choppy and almost difficult to follow...just made it feel a little rushed. Bane's voice only annoyed me at first, got used to it by the end. Once the movie got into the meat of it, it was farging good.

Questions/thoughts that are possible spoilers 1. Why no mention of the Joker at all? They kept going back to Dent's death, but with everything going on it seems silly that the Joker doesn't even get a mention. It seems he would somehow fit into the whole chaos thing that the League of Shadows loves, but at the same time he seemed like a rouge. So I would have liked to know what connection or lack there of there was in this trilogy's story line...even if it was something as simple as Batman asking and Bane answering "He never worked for us". I'm just a joker fanboy I guess because 2. farg you heath ledger for dying. It would have been awesome to see where the story would have went, especially if it still went in a Bane/League of Shadows direction. Joker's presence would a wildcard lolpunny 3. Maybe I missed it but how did Mercenary Ra's al Ghul become leader of a secret organization that had been around for apparently thousands of years?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
