bunch of us in the office went to see Safe House this afternoon. not surprisingly a fun brainless action movie. story was 100% predictable and it was the standard 10,000 bullets a minute but no important characters get shot that much, oh and i can drive perfectly while someone is choking me from the back seat with a chain. oh and i fell in love with this male prisoner i just met 12 hours ago. but its still a good waste of 2 hours. better than being in the office at least.

Picked the little one up at school and all of her friends were going to see The Phantom Menace in 3D so I said farg it and took her. The movie still sucks and the 3D isn't all that great. The 3D in the previews before the movie starts are really good but once you get to the movie it's like an enhanced version and not really 3D. And did I mention the movie is still boring and pointless?

The fight scene at the end with Darth Maul was pretty cool in 3D...I will say that much.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

yes, hemingway, f scott fitzgerald, and gertrude stein are definitely people an aspiring writer should "have barely heard of"

Let's be clear here, MDS isn't an aspiring writer. He isn't even slightly interested in the craft of writing. He's a sports fan who has no sports talent and found a way to sort of have a sports-related profession. He doesn't care about journalism (obviously) or writing well (even more obviously) and he DEFINITELY doesn't care about historically significant writers.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Nice.

But let's be clear here.  Toddrick's response to this is as predictable as it gets.  He isn't wasting his writing talents on some internet football board that's has 9 regulars, 8 of which are MA elders.  He needs to save that skill for the Mexican elders in Browntown.

rjs246

His response is irrelevant. Writers write. I'm not sure what you would call his gibberish, but it isn't writing.

Paul - a bit farged up but worth checking out if you're into comedic alien movies (and who isn't?)

Considering how articulate you are, I can't imagine why you're stuck covering HS sports in a town where English is a second language to most of the population.

Thanks for the lecture, dad, but I'm pooping right now. Not in the mood.
