Idiot Brother was pretty good.  End was pretty weak, but I enjoyed it.

Aaron Sorkin could write a movie about :CF and make it interesting.

just got back from Rise of the Planet of the Apes, it was ridiculously premised of course, but it was fun to watch except for the black guy behind us talking the entire time.  way to reinforce the stereotype chief.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Rome

The original "The Debt" is on Sundance Channel on demand right now.  I'm watching it later.  It's in Hebrew & German with subtitles, though, so...

Rome

I watched it this afternoon.  It was fantastic.  I highly recommend it.

Eagles_Legendz

saw the remake today.  pretty good.  end felt contrived.

Rome

I know what happens in the original, obviously.  That didn't feel contrived at all.  The ending in the original was really sad, actually.

I was amazed and disappointed to learn that Straw Dogs is being remade.  It's got a bunch of 90210 looking kids and it's set in New Orleans or some farging place.

Why is it that in the music industry, cover bands are (rightly) relegated to being small-fry nobodies, but in the movie world, re-makes are big money?

I'd like to tell everyone involved in making Straw Dogs 2011 to suck my steaming hanging gonads.

What?

James Mardsen is in Straw People... He also played Cyclopes in the X-men triology.

Attack the Block. A little heavy on the social commentary, but not a bad movie. An interesting take on aliens, at least.
