edge of darkness - its impossible to watch mel gibson now without seeing mel gibson...other than that tho this movie was surprisingly entertaining...jack nicholsans right hand man from the departed was excellent in it...and it had some decent twists and turns altho some of them were revealed to early and a very good suspense factor with some excellent scenes and a good ending that wasnt wrapped all up in a pretty bow...one of the better rental movies youll see

6.5/10

I saw it and liked it. I went into it with zero expectations, and I think that contributed. I think one of the things that surprised me was how different the movie actually was, compared to how it was portrayed in the commercials for it.

yeah i was completely expecting awfulness

i absolutely loved the scene when the girl gets raked getting out of the car...you know something is going to happen and still it punches you in the chest when she gets it

That was a good scene. Gibson was a little distracting, thought, because I spend the whole movie seeing him and thinking to myself that if should have been almost impossible to farg up being Mel Gibson.

yeah movie would have been much better if clive owen was the lead

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

He needs to be Marcus Phoenix whenever they make a Gears Of War movie

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Rome
