Rome

They opened after the Bat left in 2009.

The location is prime.  It's right across the street from the ballpark and the bitches really are hot.   They don't have one in Daytona yet, but it's got to be coming soon.  You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a chain pub in this place.

Munson

Damn...I'm disappointed. I never get enough of machine stories.

The closest to "chain pubs" we have around here are Kildares....and there's only like 8 of them.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Corduroy is the correct answer but I would have also accepted Parachute Pants and Jamz.

corduory would be all the rage if they ever invented a way to get snot out of it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

I've always wondered why I could never find a good corduroy handkerchief. And now I know.

Watched Get Him to the Greek tonight and thought it was really funny until the last 20 minutes, which were retarded.

But yeah, mostly I think that Russell Brand is pretty funny.

i think he's hilarious as well, but a wide majority of internet comedy gurus seem to think he's awful.

i think Arthur looks great.

I also watched All the King's Men (1949) this week. It was OK and probably really amazingly cutting edge for its time, but jesus christ just read the book. Book = awesome even a centuryish later. Movie = watchable but just barely.

is about sports or the television industry?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Diomedes

A so-called journalist who has never read All the King's Men....hasn't even heard of it...wow.

Maybe there's a reason the best work you can get is interviewing 15 year old girls about their field hockey dreams.

I've only seen about the last 5 seconds of the Arthur preview but I'm guessing this a remake of one with Dudley Moore, right?

Hopefully they can find someone hotter than Liza farging Minelli for the remake.

Don Ho

You don't dig a chick that talks through her nose and looks like a stork and to boot beat the shtein out of her husband?

Me neither.

Typically not a fan of remakes either but the original Arthur was funny but not spectacular and probably hasn't aged well (I assume because I haven't seen it in years).  So a remake with a more modern script would probably improve the movie and Russell Brand seems like a perfect choice for the role.

Speaking of Dudley Moore though, I watched Like Father Like Son on Netflix Instant View a few months back....still funny but in that awful 80's comedy way.
