This is a movie that I'm very interested in watching, but not interested in spending $8 to see.  Some movies are great for the theater.....Star Wars, Avatar, etc because of the special effects and sound.  Great comedies are awesome in the theater too because sometimes it's fun to laugh with 100+ people.  Same goes for a great horror movie that makes people jump in their seats and/or scream.  Then there's movies that are great to watch but can be enjoyed just as much (if not more) at home as in the theater and this one doesn't seem like it's going to be any better on the big screen than in my living room.

But I know you like documentaries.  Enjoy.

I get a discount on movie tickets and I think $8 is what I paid that last time I went to a movie.  And no, it's not a lot of money but I also have no interest in spending any amount of money to go see this particular movie.  Especially since the closest theater to me is about 35 miles away.

And yeah, watching movies at home is terrible.  I don't see how one can possibly enjoy a movie unless you have to spend 20 minutes looking for a parking spot, another 10 minutes in line, then walk in the theater and try to find a couple of seats that aren't surrounded by a herd of teenagers, cell phone talkers, regular talkers or people with awful laughs.  Not to mention that if you end up needing to use the bathroom during the movie you're farged.  You either go to the bathroom and miss some of the movie while simultaneously pissing off everyone in your row and at least 2 or 3 rows behind you, or you hold it to the point where you don't even care about the movie anymore....you just want it to farging end so that you can make a b-line to the bathroom before your insides explode.

Who doesn't love that?

I don't think I've had to get up to go to the bathroom during a movie since Turner & Hooch. Maybe one day you'll get your big boy bladder, too.

'Sobery McDrinknobeer' shouldn't be comparing his bladder to the bladder of regular booze-jockeys. It's apples and oranges.

other than when im in the city i have never looked for parking before the movies

i dont know about MA but where i live they have these things called ticket kiosks now where you dont have to stand in line

as for the rest of it i maybe have experienced any of those things a few times in my entire life but i dont even remember when

id go to the movies every night if there was something worth seeing

If you have an iphone there really is no reason to ever stand in line for movie tickets. Hell, if you have a computer there's no reason.

I live in a pretty busy suburb area and the theater there gets absolutely packed, but in 5 years, i've been in a crowd with constant disturbances maybe 2 times.

Sgt PSN

If I were a more frequent movie goer, I'd probably use the iPhone app or take the time to use Fandango or whatever the hell it's called.  But I haven't been a big fan of going to the movies since I was in high school.  Very few movies that come out these days are worth spending money on imo.   And with the advancements in tv, bluray and home theater systems, I'm getting pretty much the same quality picture and sound in my living room.
